Process Safety

Asymchem established its process safety laboratory in 2007, which obtained CNAS accreditation in 2019 (Registration No. L11066), covering testing instruments including RC1, ARC, and DSC. With an experienced team, comprehensive testing equipment, and a scientific process safety design workflow, the laboratory ensures that safety risks in production processes are identified and controlled efficiently and comprehensively. In process hazard analysis, it conducts engineering assessments of accident likelihood and consequences based on reaction thermokinetics, and adopts multiple independent layers of engineering control protection to prevent accidents.

Process Safety Design

Efficient and safe production implementation
Production temperature control

Temperature control measures for production are designed based on reaction thermodynamics, kinetics, and heat transfer parameters to ensure temperatures remain within the process range.

Gas relief

Evaluate gas relief based on reaction gas release kinetics, relief pipeline size design and tail gas absorption.

Process optimization

Optimize feeding methods, sequence, and temperature to ensure smooth heat and gas release during reactions; identify thermal stability risks of materials and optimize process conditions; mitigate dust explosion risks; mitigate flash fire risks.

Process Safety Testing

Outstanding process safety testing capabilities (completing about 14,000 items annually on average), covering: reaction exotherm and gas release testing, thermal stability testing, high energy compound impact sensitivity testing, dust explosion testing, flash point testing, conductivity testing.
